Two stats here tell most of the story for me to just know, blogging is good business: up front, 77% of internet users read blogs and companies that have blogs get 55% more visitors.
How do you like PicktoChart for infographics?
Thanks.

Thanks for commenting Patricia! PikToChart is pretty awesome actually! Since it was my first time making an infographic, I don’t really have another service/software to compare it with, but it was extremely easy to throw the above graphic together. Took me maybe 30 minutes tops. And I just used the free version. I plan on checking out the paid version and using it for some of my other sites, as well. Cheers! – Matthew
Interesting infographic, the fact is that the web is gearing more and more towards blogs is overwhelming. From an eCommerce business perspective with 61% of people having made a purchase through a recommendation on a blog is proof that more blogs are needed on the web. Awesome share.

Thanks for commenting Fabrizio! Ya, I just talked my day job employer into starting a corporate blog. I have analytics hooked up to the sales funnel so it’ll be interesting to see what kind of affect the blog has on customer acquisition. Either way, the stats offer a glimmer of hope. – Matthew
